2025 BAMS Year-End Tourney

YEAR-END TOURNAMENT
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 and SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2025

ROUND ROBIN QUICK NOTES:
Teams seeded as follows based on regular season:
Pool A: Freaks (1), Leading Edge (4), Mariners (5), Sluggers (8)
Pool B: Renegades (2), Outlaws (3), Misfits (6), Alers (7)

Home team for the round robin determined by flip prior to each game. Team winning the flip gets to choose home or away.  The team selecting home game provides four game balls (two 11” and two 12”) to start the game; the batting team tosses in balls as needed throughout the game.

All games 7 innings in length. A 10-run mercy rule is in effect after 6 complete innings, 15-run mercy rule is in effect after 5 complete innings. Games end in a tie after 7 innings. Do not “play games out” if home team is winning after the away team’s last at-bat. It is the responsibility of BOTH team Captains to ensure scores are accurately reported on the master scoresheet after each game. The master sheet will be placed on the dividing fence between Fields 1 and 3. Please report/record scores immediately after games are completed.  External umpires are provided on Saturday.

Games MUST start at the assigned start time OR within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the previous game in the event a game runs over scheduled time.

For tie-breaking purposes, order is: total points, total wins, head-to-head if applicable, total run differential, total runs for, coin flip.

SEPTEMBER 14 – PLAYOFF ROUND
All games are 7 innings.  A 10-run mercy rule is in effect after 6 complete innings, 15-run mercy rule is in effect after 5 complete innings. If required, extra innings will be STRAIGHT extra innings (no runner starting on second base). Seeding is based on the results of the round robin.

High seed is always home team and provides four game balls (two 11” and two 12”) to start the game; the batting team tosses in balls as needed throughout the game. External umpires are provided on Sunday.
